Anika Hannemann is a senior researcher at ZHAW and the head of research at the Swiss Centre for Responsible AI. As a computer scientist by training, she brings experience from both academia and industry.
In 2025, she earned her doctorate at Leipzig University with research on privacy-preserving machine learning for distributed systems. Her current work focuses on Responsible AI, with a particular emphasis on privacy and security in AI systems. Passionate about connecting research and practice, she is keen on bridging the gap between academia and industry.
