Jordis Herrmann is a robotics and AI leader heading the Motion Intelligence Team at ANYbotics. She leads the development of learning-based motion control systems that enable ANYmal to operate reliably in complex, real-world industrial environments.
Previously at ABB Robotics, she led the software development of a new controller family for collaborative robots, shaping scalable, modular control architectures for next-generation automation. She also worked on high-precision motion control and AI-driven tooling, including LLM-based systems for automated robotics failure analysis.
Her work focuses on translating advanced AI and data science methods into robust, production-ready systems, bridging the gap between research innovation and real-world deployment.
