 Responsible AI through EU Lens

This event brings together WiDS and the Responsible AI Innovation Group (ZHAW) for an in-person discussion about data governance in the AI era, grounded in the European Commission’s framework for Trustworthy AI.

The program starts with a cross-sector panel (NGO, industry, academia) to surface real tensions and best practices in responsible AI and governance today. It then shifts into small, facilitator-led roundtables where participants work through the Commission’s seven dimensions: human agency and oversight, technical robustness and safety, privacy and data governance, transparency, diversity and fairness, societal and environmental well-being and accountability.

The aim of workshops is to translate principles into concrete decisions, trade-offs and examples from practice.

Please note: Participation is limited. Spots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration will close once all places are filled.
